The CRS309-1G-8S+ is a compact rack-mountable network switch specialising in high-speed fibreoptic uplinks, featuring 8 x 10G SFP+ fibre ports that deliver an aggregate switching capacity of 162 Gbps and total non-blocking throughput of 81 Gbps. In addition to its fibre ports, the CRS309-1G-8S+IN features an RJ45 management port for easy maintenance, and an RS232 port for serial communication.
Depending on the requirements and capabilities of the environment in which it's installed, the CRS309-1G-8S+IN can boot into two different operating systems - SwOS for straightforward setups, or RouterOS for more complex and sophisticated management options.
